The winners of Eurovision France, c’est vous qui décidez! and France’s Eurovision 2022 representatives Alvan & Ahez will be performing their entry “Fulenn” as part of the Eurovision in Concert on April 9th!
Multi-instrumentalist electro artist Alvan and traditional vocal group Ahez joined forces and took part in France’s national selection for Eurovision Song Contest with the song “Fulenn”. The song is sung in Breton, the language first heard in Eurovision Song Contest in 1993, when Dan Ar Braz & L’Héritage des Celtes represented France with “Diwanit Bugale”.
Alvan & Ahez were the clear winner of Eurovision France, c’est vous qui décidez!, by getting the top points from the jury and the televoters. Their lead ahead of the runner-up Pauline Chagne was impressive 50 points. As one of the highest-paying EBU members, France has already qualified to the final of the contest. Alvan & Ahez hope to do one better than Barbara Pravi, who finished second last year with “Voilà”.
