3. 🇫🇷 Carla – ‘L’autre moi’ – (71 Points)
Making it onto the podium in third place… Last year Carla became a viral hit on TikTok with her Junior Eurovision entry ‘Bim Bam Toi’. Now that success has seen her career take off in 2020 with the release of her debut album L’autre moi. Along with the release came the lead single of the same name. Another fun, catchy bop which has since amassed over 5 million YouTube views to become another huge hit! Meanwhile the album peaked at 38 in the French chart and spawned a re-edition released earlier this month. The second single ‘Cœur sur toi’ is now out, which sees Carla show a more mature side to her sound.

2. 🇨🇾 Eleni Foureira – ‘Temperatura’ – (76 Points)
Not quite hitting the top spot… After the success of her Gypsy Woman album in 2019, this year Cyprus’ 2018 runner-up turned up Fuego even more, with a raft of summer hits to get us through lockdown in 2020. During the year Eleni served up a platter of bangers such as ‘Yayo’, ‘Light It Up’ and ‘Dokimase Me’. But it was ‘Temperatura’ that dialed up our thermometers! Making us crave drinking cocktails on the beach to enjoy the tropical beats with. What does the future hold for Eleni? This Saturday Eleni will perform at the MAD TV Awards 2020 and accept the award for Best Female Modern Artist. As well as this, a return as a competing artist seems as inevitable as Eleni releasing a club bop, with comeback rumours every year. Most recently, a shock Spanish proposal for 2020 and a return for Cyprus in 2021. Will we see a return in the future? Watch this space!
