Eurovision Prediction🇦🇱 Albania

YOU have predicted Alban Ramosaj to win Festivali i Këngës 60!

However, almost 1/3 predict that Ronela Hajati will win...

Over the last past few weeks, you have been submitting your predictions for the second round of Eurovision Prediction 2022. In our second national final of the season, you were asked to predict the winner of Festivali i Këngës. Now, let’s take a look at who you collectively expect to win the Albanian ticket to Turin!

This week, a total of 20 participants (including 6 ‘newcomers’) have been competing in the festival with the hope of representing Albania at Eurovision 2022. On night one, three of the newcomers were eliminated by the jury, leaving 17 to compete in the second and third nights.

The festival is hosted by Ardit Gjebrea (father of Anna Gjebrea who represented Albania at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2021), Isli Islami, Kelvi Kadilli, Xhemi Shehu and Eurovision 2019 representative, Jonida Maliqi.

Unlike most other national selections, the winner of Festivali i Këngës is solely decided by a jury vote, making it notoriously unpredictable. The jury consists of Anxhela Peristeri (winner of Festivali i Këngës 59), Agim Doçi, Anxhela Faber, Osman Mula, Rozana Radi, Olsa Toqi and Olti Curri.

Let’s take a look at who YOU predict they will choose!

During this round of Eurovision Prediction 2022, 503 of you have predicted who you think will take victory in the Albania. Without further ado, here are the entries that YOU have predicted to win in order of frequency, from most to least (eliminated artists*):

Last year, over 58% of our players incorrectly predicted that Inis Neziri would win FiK 59. Eventual winner Anxhela Peristeri got only 17% of predictions.

Back in 2019, 3/4 of our players predicted that Elvana Gjata would win FiK 58, with only 16% predicting Arilena’s controversial win.

In fact, the last time our players correctly predicted the winner of Festivali i Këngës was back in 2018, when 46% of them accurately predicted Jonida Maliqi’s victory.

Members of the ESCXTRA team may be disappointed by this result, as they selected Ronela Hajati’s “Sekret” as their winner in our XTRA Decides feature.

After each national final, the points will be assigned and you will receive a rankings update via our Eurovision Prediction platform. Furthermore, we will make sure to notify you via our Eurovision Prediction Facebook page, our Eurovision Prediction Twitter page and here on the ESCXTRA website.
