This took me by surprise. Not least because I know July Jones’ stuff and I was lukewarm in the past. But wow, ‘Girls Can Do Anything’ is an inferno of a banger! However I’ve been down this road before with Raiven and already been burned. Although the EMA Final is back to the format that selected Lea Sirk, so I do have some hope. This is in your face and high energy, with industrial beats and staging that would make Hatari proud. I love the false intro that gives July a chance to showcase her vocal range. Maybe drop that part for Euroclub though!
