Nick (10pts)

I’m getting a bit of Nova Deca (which I hated) and yet I really like this. It’s got a modern vibe to it, yet manages to stay perfectly authentic. Listening to this, it feels Serbian and to be perfectly honest, I don’t know enough about Serbian music to explain why that is. All I know is that this is a bop and I hope Angellina delivers live.

Lisa (12pts)

Not many songs in Serbia have grabbed me this year. Two years of Hurricane is a lot to live up to! However ‘Origami’ does a decent job of that. I really connect with that blend of house beats with the thumping traditional Serbian turbo-folk that kicks into the chorus. I love Balkan bangers and I know this would be a huge hit across the region and go down well at Eurovision parties. But I’m well aware this style is not for everyone in Western Europe and Australia that always want flute.violin ballads instead. But this is my personal favourite and just what I need in my three minutes of patience.
