Reviews

Costa (12pts)

I have to be honest, I wasn’t really grabbed by neither “Þaðan af”, nor “Then Again” when I first listened to the playlist. However, once I watched the live version, I was instantly hooked by Katla’s commanding stage presence, the chic styling and the crystal-clear vocal. I’m so thrilled that Katla has opted to keep it in Icelandic for the final, it’s such a gorgeous language, which has been absent since 2019 at the contest.

Sami (12pts)

I do prefer the English version of the song, but I am very happy if we get Icelandic back in the contest. Katla’s way to perform this song is so captivating and this song is somehow very Icelandic and I am always happy when country bring their own culture to the contest one way or another. This would make a great entry for the country and I am sure this would qualify to the final.
